BRET MICHAELS: New Video Interview, Acoustic Performance Footage Available
March 18, 2010POISON frontman Bret Michaels recently took part in an interview and acoustic performance at the PopEater.com offices. You can now watch the results below.
On going from "Rock of Love" to "Celebrity Apprentice":
"After three seasons of 'Rock of Love', it was a nice break for my lips. I don't want too much of a break... a little suck face break, but I wanted to go in and show there's another side that can work real hard and get it done, and I'm a life-long juvenile diabetic, so taking four injections a day and, as I just did right before this, probably six to eight blood tests a day. I really have a strong cause and I'm in there fighting for it."
On his new single "Nothing to Lose", featuring Miley Cyrus:
"It's a song that I originally wrote myself, and ended up in the studio... Miley Cyrus is redoing 'Every Rose Has Its Thorn', which is how this all started. I've known her and her family for a while ... and she's one of the the few pop superstars that will make it through for another 15 or 20 years, because she can sit down and play piano, she can play guitar ... I played her 'Nothing to Lose', and everyone was in the studio and she was in there with Liam and she's like, 'That's a beautiful song.' She said, 'Do you mind if I go in and sing some low harmonies and stuff on there.'"
